The body's most important fuel
Carbohydrates are the most important fuel for the muscles and nervous system. The body can use other substances as fuel but it prefers to use carbohydrates. During hard physical training, more carbohydrates are consumed than normal and it can be a good idea to make sure to stock up on carbohydrates before, during and after training.
100% pure maltodextrin
Maltodextrin is a very large molecule, a so-called glucose polymer. The body can easily break down maltodextrin into free glucose, which makes maltodextrin a quick source of carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates for recovery 💪
Carbohydrates contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) after high-intensity and/or long-term physical training that leads to muscle fatigue and depleted glycogen stores in the skeletal muscles.
The beneficial effect is achieved with a carbohydrate intake of a total of 4 g per kg of body weight from all sources, divided into doses during the first 4 hours and at the latest within 6 hours after high-intensity and/or prolonged physical training that leads to muscle fatigue and depleted glycogen stores in the skeletal muscles.
Neutral taste
Supreme Maltodextrin has a neutral taste and can therefore be mixed into almost any kind of drink. You can therefore mix with everything from plain water, to amino acids and the protein drink after exercise. You can also flavor yourself by mixing with, for example, juice.
